Łukasiewicz – Institute for Sustainable Technologies is one of 32 institutes forming the Łukasiewicz Research Network – the third largest R&D network in Europe. We are an interesting and unusual research institute combining research work in both technical and soft areas: education and management. For over 30 years we have been implementing our activities within the framework of national and international programs.

The Research Centre for Vocational Education and Innovative Management is a specialized organizational unit of Łukasiewicz – ITEE that develops systems, models and tools supporting and integrating education with innovative economy and labor market.

The scientific activity of the Centre is particularly focused on:

• development of research methods of work pedagogy, including professional studies, diagnosis and prognosis of new occupations as well as qualifications and skills required by advanced technologies and smart specializations;

• development of modern vocational education and training as well as tools for monitoring and evaluation of market qualifications;

• supporting VET teachers and vocational counselors in developing educational processes, incl. designing vocational training programs and multimedia educational packages;

• supporting the development of skills required by the innovative knowledge-based economy;

• development of national and European cooperation within networks of innovation including educational institutions, industry organizations and enterprises;

• publishing the Journal of Continuing Education.
